After the pandemic: Imagining the future
Welcome to the livestream for the latest instalment of A better future for all, Griffith University’s in-conversation series, presented in partnership with HOTA, Home of the Arts.
In the final instalment for the year, join host Kerry O’Brien for a panel discussion on the human side of the pandemic and how this collective experience might change society.
Our response to coronavirus will shape Australia for decades to come. It has been the catalyst for major change. For many people, their lives at work and at home have been irrevocably altered. Whole industries were severely impacted. Structural weaknesses in our society have been exposed. But we have also re-discovered what we are capable of when we work together. A new appreciation of what we can expect from government, civil society and each other has emerged. We’re looking ahead and imagining what Australia might look like as we recover from this pandemic.
